Fem Task Force at UN Commission on the Status of Women

The Feminist Task Force is on the ground at the UN 58th Commission on the Status of Women (CSW) which begins today, March 10, and has as its theme, “Challenges and achievements in the implementation of the MDGs for women and girls.”

With the MDGs set to expire at the end of 2015, the discussions these next two weeks are focused on the Post 2015 agenda, an issue the Feminist Task Force has been tracking for a few years.

For this CSW, the FTF will be hosting and co-sponsoring a number of events primarily on gender, poverty and climate justice, as well as on women and the Post 2015 development agenda. If you didn’t make it to our pre-International Women’s Day event, “Women’s Voices in a Post 2015 Agenda,” together with the WorldWeWant2015.org, please check out this post.  Please join us! See below for details and flyers.
